Community Rules
Help other players find useful creations. Be respectful, share only what you have the right to share, and use reports when something needs review.
1. Where these rules apply
These rules apply to MCAddonsHub comments, nicknames, reports, and other content you submit to the community. They supplement the Terms of Use. The community is intended for people aged 13 or older.
2. Treat people with respect
- Do not harass, bully, threaten, or encourage others to target a person.
- Do not promote hatred or dehumanization based on identity or protected characteristics.
- Do not share someone's private information, including contact details, precise location, or access credentials, without permission.
- Do not impersonate another player, creator, moderator, or official organization.
3. Keep content safe
- Do not post sexual content, sexual solicitation, or any content that exploits or endangers children.
- Do not post graphic violence, credible threats, or instructions intended to harm people.
- Do not post scams, phishing, malware, deceptive download links, or instructions for illegal activity.
- Do not flood discussions with spam, repetitive promotions, or unrelated links.
- Do not share copyrighted material or another creator's work without permission.
4. Write helpful comments
Keep comments relevant to the catalog item. Describe your experience clearly and avoid posting personal information. A nickname is public with an approved comment, so choose one you are comfortable sharing. Do not use multiple profiles or automated requests to evade a restriction or overwhelm moderators.
5. Reports, blocking, and moderation
Use the in-app report control for a catalog item, comment, or author that may break these rules. Choose the closest reason and add useful context; do not file knowingly false or abusive reports. You may also block an author, which hides that author's comments from the public comment feed you see. Blocking does not remove their comments for other players.
Depending on the current moderation settings and checks, a new comment may be approved immediately or held for review. Pending comments are visible to their author but not to other players until approved. Nicknames that fail the current checks may be declined. Automated checks cannot catch every violation. Moderators may approve, reject, or later remove a comment; hide a catalog item; resolve or dismiss a report; or suspend a profile. They may act on their own review as well as reports. You can see available decisions about your comments or reports in your private community inbox; the app may also send a device notification. We do not reveal another reporter's identity or internal moderator information there.
If you think a decision was mistaken, email [email protected] with the relevant item or report ID. Never email your bearer token. We review concerns but cannot promise a particular outcome or response time.
6. Changes
We may update these rules when community needs change. The current version and effective date appear at the top of this page. When these Rules, the Terms of Use, or the Privacy Policy change, the app will ask you to accept the current versions before reading or posting comments again.
