Terms of Use
These terms explain how you may use the MCAddonsHub app, website, catalog, and community features.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
MCAddonsHub Team (“we”, “us”) operates MCAddonsHub. You can reach us at [email protected]. These terms apply to the MCAddonsHub website, Android app, catalog, and community tools. By using a feature, you agree to the terms that apply to that feature. The Community Rules also apply when you post or interact with community content.
MCAddonsHub is an independent fan service. It is not an official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. Minecraft and related names belong to their respective owners.
2. Access and age
Browsing the public site and catalog does not require a community profile. Community participation is intended for people aged 13 or older. If the law where you live requires a higher age or parental permission, follow that requirement.
The app may create an anonymous community profile identified by a numeric user ID and a private access token. Your nickname is not a login credential and does not have to be unique. Keep the token private. The app may restore the profile using a verified token stored on your device or in Google Play services' Block Store, or through a binding to the same Android device. Recovery is not guaranteed if those methods are unavailable. A nickname alone cannot restore access.
You can unlink the device in the app. This removes that device's server binding and revokes the profile's active community tokens; it does not delete the profile, its comments, or other server records. Contact us to request deletion.
Before reading or posting comments, you must accept the current versions of these Terms, the Community Rules, and the Privacy Policy in the app. If any required version changes, the app will ask you to accept the new version before using those features again.
3. Catalog and third-party creations
The catalog may link to or make available add-ons, maps, scripts, skins, texture packs, and other third-party creations. Creators and rights holders retain their rights. Check each creation's description, permissions, and compatibility before using it. You need a separate copy of Minecraft where applicable.
We work to keep catalog information useful, but availability, safety, compatibility, and uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed. Downloads and third-party sites may change independently of us. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
If you believe a catalog item or comment infringes your rights, contact [email protected] with the item URL, the rights you own, and enough information to review the concern.
4. Your community content
You are responsible for the nickname, comments, report details, and links you submit. Do not post content you lack the right to share. You keep ownership of your original content. By submitting it, you give us a non-exclusive permission to store, display, reproduce, and moderate that content only as needed to operate and protect MCAddonsHub. This permission ends when the content is removed from our systems, except for copies we must retain for legitimate records or legal obligations.
New comments may be approved automatically and become public immediately, or wait for moderator review. Pending comments are visible to their author but not to others until approved. We may reject or remove comments, hide a catalog item, resolve or dismiss a report, and suspend an anonymous profile where needed to enforce these terms or the Community Rules. We may also act on content without waiting for a report. We do not promise that every report will result in removal or that review will finish within a particular time.
You can report a catalog item, comment, or author and block an author in the app. Blocking changes what you see; it does not delete another person's content for everyone. Reports are sent to moderators, not published as comments. For a question about a moderation decision, email [email protected] with the relevant item or report ID. Do not include your bearer token in email.
5. Acceptable use
Follow the Community Rules. Do not abuse the service, automate requests to evade rate limits, interfere with security, impersonate others, submit malicious links or files, or use the service for unlawful activity. We may limit or suspend access when these rules are broken.
6. Privacy and changes
Our Privacy Policy explains what data the service handles and how long it is retained. We may change these Terms as the service develops. A new version will be published at this URL with its effective date; community features require acceptance of the current version.
